20+ Years Experience  |  Serving 3 Sectors  |  With 1 Consistent Measure: Change

Think Sideways works at the intersection of learning, behaviour change, and real-world impact.

With more than two decades of experience across the public, private, and not-for-profit sectors, Chantelle designs and delivers programs for some of Australia's most respected institutions and some of the world's leading organisations.

Her work spans instructional design, change management, and facilitation, often within the same engagement. She is known for work that is clear, useful, and easy to apply, and for client relationships grounded in honesty, accountability, and mutual respect.

Think Sideways works with a small portfolio of clients at any one time. From large-scale, award-winning community investment programs to bespoke work designed for individuals, the scale and sector change but the standard doesn't.

Capabilities beyond the brief

The measure of good design isn't how clever the solution is. It's whether the initiative achieves its outcomes and the client recognises their vision in what was built.

What Think Sideways offers.

No templates. Nothing off-the-shelf. Each engagement is built from scratch around the actual problem, designed for your specific context, people, and goals.

01 Instructional Design Learning experiences built around the core needs of the learner. Designed to maximise engagement, improve knowledge retention, and produce outcomes that last beyond the room. Design
02 Facilitation Conversations designed before they happen. Sessions that help people think clearly, surface what matters, and leave with more than they arrived with. Delivery
03 Change Management Helping people find their place in change rather than resist it. Building confidence, creating clarity, and making new ways of working actually stick. Change

How the work
gets done.

Five principles. Every engagement. No exceptions.

I
Start with need, not solution
Understand the actual gap before proposing anything. The assumed problem is rarely the real one.
II
Work with clients, not for them
Clients bring context. Chantelle brings expertise. The best work happens in the space between.
III
Design for real people
Everyone needs a reason to care, room to practise, and confidence to change.
IV
Build for real-world conditions
The focus is on what holds up where it's actually used, not what looks good in a deck.
V
Measure what matters
Completion rates are a signal. The question is whether people actually changed.
"Rigorous by design. Human by intent."

In their own words.

The relationships that matter most are the ones that bring clients back.

"Chantelle is adaptable and creative. She's 100% committed to getting the best outcome. Her strong skills in written communication and content design helped us bring abstract concepts to life through activities, humour and metaphors. She's a pleasure to work with."
Dr Emily Heath Director, EY CCaSS
"Chantelle's work is truly excellent. I love the insight, the care and the passion that is evident in her work. She told me she would treat our company like it was her own, and she did."
Ntiedo Etuk Founder, Your Guru
